Day 01: Arrive Tokyo
Arrive at Narita International Airport, Tokyo (Japan). Meet, welcome and assist by our office representative and transfer to Hotel for check in. Welcome drinks followed by tour briefing. If an airport assistant is required to attend your clients before 8:00AM or after 8:00PM, there may be a surcharge. Day is free to leisure at your own. Overnight at hotel
Day 02: Sightseeing, Tokyo
After breakfast, proceed to visit Tokyo’s various Buddhist temples and shrines to enjoy the truly idiosyncratic Setsubun Bean Throwing Festival. Overnight at hotel
Day 03: Sightseeing, Tokyo
After breakfast, first leave for the best hidden gem shopping areas of Tokyo’s many districts, covering Harajuku. Then proceed to Omotesando (Tokyo’s Champs-Elysees). At the end, proceed to Meiji Shrine, Tokyo’s most famous shrine, dedicated to the spirit of the late Emperor Meiji. Overnight at hotel
Day 04: Arrive Nagano
Set off to the Tokyo Station by private taxi or metro, and depart for Nagano by bullet train. Transfer to hotel for check in. After settling in, proceed to any of Nagano’s stunning ski resorts. In the evening, enjoy several of the nearby Onsen or hot springs, a communal hot-tubs based on the naturally hot geothermal springs in Nagano. Return back to hotel and overnight.
Day 05: Free day: Sightseeing, Nagano
After breakfast, day is free at your own leisure. Overnight at hotel
Day 06: Sightseeing, Jijokudani
After breakfast, proceed to Jigokudani (Hell Valley) by local train from Nagano, then a bus ride to the head of the trail, and then conclude with a mile of hill-hiking up to the Monkey’s main habitat. Please note this is not a zoo and the monkeys are completely wild, giving you a chance for an up-close and personal encounter with Japanese nature. After enjoying a full day adventure return back to hotel (Nagano) and overnight.
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast. Timely transfer to the airport for flight to your onwards destination.
