Day 01: Arrive Hokkaido, Sightseeing: Sapporo, Hidaka

Arrive at New Chitose Airport, Hokkaido (Japan). Meet, welcome and assist by our office representative. After a quick introduction to Sapporo’s famed Ramen Alley, transfer to Hidaka and go for an exciting white-water rafting tour on one of the most adventurous rivers in Japan, covering sightseeing at Mount Sahoro, Cape Erimo and other near-by places. In the evening, transfer to Ryokan and overnight in Hidaka.

Day 02: Sightseeing: Lake Akan, Kushiro

After breakfast, proceed to Kushiro, travel through slowly to get the best chance of spotting wildlife. Then proceed towards Lake Akan (National Park). After visiting beautiful Crater Lake in Akan National Park, proceed towards Ainu Kotan, a small village where you will find handicrafts as well as a small museum displaying traditional Ainu crafts, clothes and daily life utensils. In the evening stay in a local Ryokan or Minshuku (traditional family-owned inns). Overnight in Minshuku

Day 03: Sightseeing, Minshuku

After breakfast, first leave for Lake Mashu which is a caldera lake in Akan National Park. Then proceed to Kawayu Onsen, a small hot spring town, covering Iozan (Sulfur Mountain). Lastly, visit Utoro after visiting Kiyosato. Overnight in Minshuku

Day 04: Arrive Shiretoko

Set off to the Shiretoko peninsula by private car where, you will be exploring Hokkaido’s dramatic coastline by boat. In the afternoon, get ready for a cycling tour in Shiretoko National Park. Enjoy National Park’s many routes based on your interest and fitness level. After cycling, return to a local Ryokan and overnight in Shiretoko.

Day 05: Shretoko- Sounkyo

Rise early to enjoy a morning hike at the Shiretoko Five Lakes (God’s Five Fingerprints). After returning from the hike, transfer to Sounkyo situated in the Daisetsuzan National Park by private car where, you have opportunities for gorgeous hikes, magnificent cliff-side scenery, playing in waterfalls and viewing Hokkaido’s tallest mountain: Mt.Asahi-dake. Overnight in Sounkyo 

Day 6: Arrive at Sapporo and Departure
Return back to Sapporo by private car, Breakfast. Timely transfer to the airport for flight to your onwards destination.
