Day 1: Arrival in Kuala Lumpur

Upon arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative from Smiling Holidays and transferred to your hotel in the heart of the city. After check-in, take the rest of the day to relax and recover from your journey. You may choose to explore the nearby area at your own pace or enjoy the facilities at your hotel. Day 2: Kuala Lumpur City Tour (Half Day)

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, get ready to explore the vibrant capital on a half-day city tour (approx. 4 hours). Start with photo stops at the iconic Petronas Twin Towers and visit the KL Tower Observation Deck for panoramic views of the city skyline. Continue to the majestic King’s Palace, then delve into Malaysia’s history at the National Museum. You’ll also visit the Sultan Abdul Samad Building and Independence Square, two key landmarks reflecting colonial-era architecture. Wrap up your tour with a stop at a local chocolate boutique, where you can sample and shop for locally made treats. Overnight stay in Kuala Lumpur.

Day 3: Kuala Lumpur to Genting Highlands via Batu Caves

After breakfast, check out of your hotel by noon and embark on a full-day adventure to Genting Highlands, Malaysia’s premier hill resort and entertainment hub. En route, stop at the famous Batu Caves, a series of caves and temples nestled within a massive limestone hill, known for its towering golden statue of Lord Murugan. From the base station, enjoy a scenic 2-way cable car ride (standard gondola) on the Awana Skyway, offering panoramic views of the rainforest below. Upon reaching the top, explore the casinos, theme parks, shopping malls, and entertainment zones at your leisure. Overnight stay in Genting Highlands.

Day 4: Genting Highlands to Penang

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out by noon. Begin your journey to Penang, the “Pearl of the Orient,” known for its cultural heritage, colonial charm, and culinary delights. The journey will take you across scenic countryside landscapes, either by road or train, depending on the travel arrangement. Upon arrival in Penang, check in at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Penang.

Day 5: Penang Full-Day Tour + Penang Hill Fast Lane Ride

After breakfast, head out on a full-day tour of Penang, starting with a fast lane ticket experience on the Penang Hill funicular train — one of the oldest in Asia — taking you to the summit for stunning views of the island. Explore colonial buildings, lush nature, and the impressive Kek Lok Si Temple, the largest Buddhist temple in Malaysia. You’ll have time to explore other highlights such as George Town’s Street art, historic Clan Jetties, and the Blue Mansion if time allows. Return to your hotel in the evening. Overnight stay in Penang.

Day 6: Penang to Langkawi via Ferry

Enjoy your breakfast and check out by noon. You will then be transferred to Kuala Kedah Jetty to board the ferry to Langkawi, a tropical paradise known for its beaches and lush landscapes. On arrival at Langkawi Jetty, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. Spend the evening relaxing on the beach or visiting a local night market. Overnight stay in Langkawi.

Day 7: Langkawi Island Tour + Cable Car Combo & Sky Bridge

Fuel up with breakfast before heading out for a half-day Langkawi city tour, where you will visit some of the island’s top attractions. Your tour includes the popular Cable Car Combo – featuring Sky Cab, Sky Dome, Sky Rex, and the immersive 3D Art Museum. Enjoy the thrilling walk on the Langkawi Sky Bridge, suspended high above the rainforest with spectacular views of the Andaman Sea. Spend the afternoon at leisure, perhaps visiting Pantai Cenang or relaxing at your resort. Overnight stay in Langkawi.

Day 8: Departure from Langkawi

After your final breakfast in paradise, check out from your hotel by noon and transfer to Langkawi International Airport for your departure flight. Take home wonderful memories from your journey through Malaysia’s most iconic cities, hill resorts, beaches, and cultural heritage.
